Keeping it close to home

Many of us have spent our summer holidays close to home and low tech.

Mark & Hannah’s kids have been camping in the back yard, Kirsty & Paul and Chris & Holly went tramping in Wainuiomata, Flo & Mike have had some backyard camping for the kids and plan to take a holiday in the Kapiti region. I hear of a Battle Hill camping expedition mentioned by a few others… It’s just 20 mins away but quite a different world from Paekakariki.

Living sustainably is made up of hundreds of little choices we face each day. Living in a perfect home filled with all the ‘Green Tech’ modcons isn’t going to be enough, it’s how we choose to live our lives that makes the difference.
